This workbook is written with the intention of providing supplementary material for the textbook, Turkish for Foreigners by H. Sebuktekin, used at Bosphorus University in the teaching of Turkish as a foreign language. Therefore, the presentation of grammar points and the subsequent exercises in each chapter follow the gradation in H. Sebuktekin's textbook. Explanations of grammar points and instructions to the exercises are given both in Turkish and English, with the view that the workbook will mainly address new learners of Turkish. A glossary, an index and an answer key are included to facilitate individual self study.

About the Authors
Muammer Serin has been teaching Turkish language courses at all levels to foreign students in Bosphorus University since 1972. She has also taught in the B.U. Turkish Language and Culture Summer Program ever since the program's inception in 1982.
Eser E. Taylan has been teaching Linguistics in the Department of Western Languages and Literature in Bosphorus University since 1979. She has also taught Turkish as a foreign language in different universities in the United States and in the B.U. Turkish Language and Culture Summer Program ever since the program was first offered in 1982.
